Sudden Credit of 250 WUs?

I’m not one to complain, but my account (and perhaps ThomasMyers’ account) were suddenly credited with hundreds of WU’s worth of points.


I don’t know if this was to fix previous unaccounted-for WUs or bonus points, or simply an accounting error.
Or maybe someone used mistyped user credentials, giving me a nice stat bump...

I don't know if this is related, but I was just credited for 670 WUs. In my case I know the reason, my systems were set to work on Beta projects and the server they were on was misconfigured and not getting its WUs logged into the stats database. That was reported and prior attempts to get it set right didn't work. But they did finally get it straightened out and the backlog of reports were just entered into the database earlier today.

When I reported this only Beta projects are running on the server. But the problem may have been there before or some WUs were returned to that server as a Collection Server.

I had my machines working on beta units earlier this year, and I did wonder if they were being credited correctly.
So I’m glad to hear they’re back in the black, if that’s the case.

Server 129.32.209.204 / vav21.fah.temple.edu has been reconnected to the stats system after weeks of misconfiguration. It explains the points/WU catch up.
