Re: iGPU is not used
When the core can't find CUDA, it falls back to OpenCL, so it might be that platform 2 and platform 3 actually point to the same device.
Besides that, there are hardly ever jobs for iGPUs in Intel these days.

Re: iGPU is not used
If I follow you, the iGPU is not detected.
This is a bug. No ?

Re: iGPU is not used
That might well be the case. If I read your log snippet well, it's from a single WU starting. Could you post the log right after startup of the client itself? That should give more information on what is detected and possibly why.

Re: iGPU is not used
Please post the beginning log section to confirm the hardware that the client detects. But if I looked up the correct iGPU information, the UHD Graphics 730 is not supported for folding. It is from a generation of iGPUs that Intel removed hardware support of FP64 processing and provided it with software support in the driver. Internal testing of that by F@h found that software emulation in th driver failed to work well enough with the GPU folding cores. All iGPUs of that generation are disabled in the GPUs.txt file.
The same problem exists with the discrete GPU cards Intel is selling based on that generation GPU design at the consumer level. Some of the workstation level cards have hardware FP64 support from what I understand, but I am not certain which those are.

Re: iGPU is not used
Okay, the log shows what I expected and the iGPU is definitely not supported. v7's log would at least also show the unsupported GPU under the hardware configuration section. With v8.3 web control it may show up on the machine configuration page grayed out, hovering a mouse cursor over it would give an unsupported indication.
Hardware FP64 support may return in a newer generation of Intel iGPUs, at least on desktop processors. But I have not seen any confirmation on when and which processors it will show up on.
