Lars systems new BETA Update

I hadn't noticed anyone else mentioned that Folding.LARS.Systems has released a version of Folding@Home In The Dark v8 Web Client: BETA.
Works pretty well with V8.1.18, atleast on my single comp no idea how the remote client aspect is working.

And this new version works with FireFox under Linux too. Ubuntu 22.04 LTS released a new kernel that fixes some sleep/resume issues today. Best of all
AMD released LACT an open source version of thier Windows Overclock Utility for Linux can read about it at Phoronix.!!!!

I'm folding away right now temps are close to what they are on Windows. Can't wait to see stats start to showing up at folding.lars.systems Currently all 3536 Wu's for a 7900XTX are Windows.

I have to admit feeling like a kid in a candy store right now. Just need HIP before Christmas.

Well turned out that the fan control is still unstable due to missing kernel patches same as CoreCtrl for the RDNA 3 series cards like mine. I did manage the 1st 16 Linux submissions for any 7900XT/XTX/GRE series gpu into the Folding.Lars.System database.
Despite not only being gimped by temps the memory is limited to running at half speed which was a good thing because the memory temp hit 90c hotspot 80c. The early return was promising once patched I think I'll be able to beat my personal best of 28 wu's in 24 hours on Win 11.
