Virus detected [Known False Positive]

I use Avast pro for antivirus protection.
Once in awhile it will detect part of WU as being a worm threat. I forgot to keep notes as to what WU they were.
I just sent that part to the vault.
This has happened on a couple of my comps.

Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Doesn't sending the WU or part of it to the vault cause work processing to stop? How does one send part of a WU somewhere, or did Avast do that?

Search this forum for "Avast" and you'll find several reports of the same thing. Avast gives false positives. You need to exclude the FAH directories from the avast search.

If you send one of the files to the vault, the current WU will be trashed almost immediately.

That's what I needed to know, Thanks.

I thought it was a false as other comps with AVG didn't pick it up. It only happens once in awhile. Not very often.
I have been folding for about 5 years now.
