Expiration Of Version 7

Is there a date certain for the end of Version 7; and if so how far out is it?

I'm not complaining about V8....most of my problems have been show stoppers with various versions of linux newer than 18.04 Ubuntu.

Can get about 4 more years from Ubuntu and would save me a great deal of time & effort.

There is no planned expiration date for v7.

I imagine it will continue to work past the non-beta release of v8, which has no ETA.
