New Radeon drivers - 21.10.1 - performance still seems bad

It seems that a lot of GPU problems revolve around specific versions of drivers. Though AMD has their own support structure, you can often learn from information reported by others who fold.

Yay. Was just about to sell my Merc319 6900XT Ultra. I will keep it now. Have a 12700F build for it.
Folding since Feb 2021. 1) 4090/12900KS, 2) 4080/12700F, 3) 4070Ti/9900X, 4) 3090/12900K, 5) 3090/10940X, 6) 3080Ti/12700K, 7) 3080Ti/9900X

Hopefully so... Though at the moment, I have not noticed any significant benefit of running the RX 6500XT -v- that GTX 1050TI. Though, I'm going to do a clean installation of the Windows 10 drivers for this card (this may require using DDU first). Last resort, will be a motherboard BIOS update to see if that may help (as that was the last thing that I did before I noticed the decline in performance with the AMD iGPU on the 3200G CPU, when trying to simultaneously run an NVidia card).

So the 6800 non-XT is not supported in 21.3.1/2? The release notes say 21.3.1 includes support for RX 6700.

All this is irrelevant now. AMD fixed the latest driver. Please update the drivers to the latest, and you will see PPD jump double

Double of what? 22.7.1 is double of 21.3.1? Is 22.8.2 as good as 22.7.1? Thanks.

Every latest driver brings back 21.3.2 levels of performance. There is no extra, no less

Every latest driver brings back 20.3.2 levels of performance. There is no extra, no less
Alright, sounds good. If there's no improvement with the latest, I'll just leave it on 21.3.1 as I don't like to fix things that already work
