Folding @ Home performance on modern AMD GPU's has finally been restored! Driver 22.7.1

It seems that a lot of GPU problems revolve around specific versions of drivers. Though AMD has their own support structure, you can often learn from information reported by others who fold.

AMD Radeon graphics driver 22.7.1 is now live!

Fixed Issues
Lower than expected Folding@home™ compute performance with OpenCL™ API on some AMD Graphics Products such as the Radeon™ RX 6800.

When I first got my RX 6900 XT earlier this year, I figured its underwhelming folding performance was a trait of the RDNA architecture. I became hopeful when I noticed that entry in the known issues list a couple of months ago. I installed the new driver tonight and did a quick comparison between it and what I was running before (22.5.2).

Work unit in question: project 18706, R0, C26, G76

Before: 3:45 TPF, 1,839,421 PPD; 142-155 W power draw
After: 1:49 TPF, 4,538,045 PPD; 194-206 W power draw

My card's settings in the driver control panel are as such: 2400 max GPU frequency, 1100 mV GPU voltage, 2150 max VRAM frequency, fast timings, SAM/resizable BAR enabled.

Now my new card is comfortably ahead of my old GTX 1080 Ti in throughput :D.
Folding since December 2003. In memory of my mother, who lost her battle with cancer.

I will chime in as well that it more than doubled PPD on the Navi Pro lines.
Finally, after two generations of cards OCL, OGL, and DX9-11 performance has been improved.

I'm up from 230-270 PPD per card, to 700k on my w6600's. Not too shabby for a single slot deal.

Same settings as before: all stock as there's nothing you can change other than fan curve on the Pro Cards of this generation. Power draw now hits the 100 watt limit for the card, instead of hovering in the 75-80watt range.

How does 22.7.1 compare to 21.3.1? As good or better? Also, is performance still good on the latest 22.8.2?

The performance fix from 22.7.1 has persisted with the 22.8.1 22.8.2 as well as the latest 22.9.1 released last week as far as I can tell. My 6600XT seems to be averaging 1.7 million ppd across all of them.Pretty good for a 130w card. I've rarely seen it draw no more than 125.

I've installed the web client extension from https://folding.lar.systems to help collect the stats.Installs and runs just fine in the edge brower.
The gpu has actually moved from the 62nd ranked gpu to 55th on some wu's I've nearly matched the performance recorded for the 6700xt.
