Re: VCRUNTIME140.dll not found
I think you need to install these two packages (but I'm not sure that the x86 is useful in this case) :
Visual Studio 2015, 2017 et 2019
x86 : vc_redist.x86.exe
x64 : vc_redist.x64.exe
From : https://support.microsoft.com/fr-fr/top ... f26a218cc0
These packages are usually needed for programs compiled with Visual Studio ...

Re: VCRUNTIME140.dll not found
Thanks, toTOW! It looks like we overlooked the need to include the Visual Studio DLLs.
We're working on this now.

Re: VCRUNTIME140.dll not found
@JohnChodera: Since I run Fedora 34 (which I often update), I will try to do my best to watch for issues to see if they pop up with a Linux distribution. I doubt this will be the case, as from what I have read above, this was happening more frequently for those with the Windows O/S.
Mind you, I am not one of the "Beta Test Team" members. So, I will post an update here should it be necessary.

Re: VCRUNTIME140.dll not found
There is no Linux core 22 v0.0.14 yet ... there are other issues (related to ocl-icd detection) to fix there ... but don't worry, you might join the party later
Re: VCRUNTIME140.dll not found
I only run one system with Win 10, So, I'm sure that I'll be baby-sitting my 32-core Linux desktop soon.

@psaam001: We're still working on the linux build for core22 0.0.14! There's a dependency we're working to eliminate there before we can release it.

Thanks for the tip.aetch wrote:Give one of these links a go. (...)
Only the VC++ 2012 package was installed in my Win10 system.
I added both versions x86 and x64 of the VC++ 2015, 2017 and 2019 redistributable files.
I got a P13456 WU few hours ago too, but the addition of the last VC++ packages seems to be the solution and it's running well.erich56 wrote:a few hours ago, I got another 13456 which did not work, of course; and now it got stuck and I don't know how to remove it
I though you disabled these 0.0.14 projects
If you want to remove the WU, you can finish it from the Advanced Control (right-clic on the slot > Finish).
Or maybe you can try to install the last VC++ packages and see if the FAH client continue to reject the WU.

Further, I had switched from "any disease" to Parkinson and then Cancer. I thought 13456 is Covid ?

It is ... however the choice of disease is only a preference - if there aren't any wus available for your setup on that preference then you get assigned whatever is available.erich56 wrote:Further, I had switched from "any disease" to Parkinson and then Cancer. I thought 13456 is Covid ?
Not sure why you are still getting these (unless they thought the issue was solved and restarted or that there were some in play on the servers) but I am sure John will clarify if/when he spots this.

Re: VCRUNTIME140.dll not found
It looks like P13456 are still being issued - I just started one.
It is still configured to install and run the new core 22.0.0.14.
But now it's 'breaking' Folding in a new way.
My system does not have the C++ 2015 installed - but I did not get the usual warning about a missing .dll file.
Instead Folding itself showed me a warning that the CUDA configuration was failed.
CUDA_ERROR_FAILED_PTX (218)
Below is a snip from the Log including the download of the new core and the CUDA error.
This is also a Windows 7 Ultimate system
Since it is only running in OpenCL mode, I'm down about 200,000PPD on this work unit.

Re: VCRUNTIME140.dll not found
I'll post link to this report to https://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php? ... 00#p352600 as that is another cuda related issue for this project ... also pm'd John to give him heads up on these posts.Gary480six wrote:It looks like P13456 are still being issued - I just started one.
