Hi,
It seems that a low amount of credit points are awarded, for the last couple of WUs my PC returned. From the logs:
12:52:02:WU02:FS00:Sending unit results: id:02 state:SEND error:NO_ERROR project:16935 run:22 clone:274 gen:19 core:0xa8 unit:0x00000112000000130000422700000016
12:52:17:WU02:FS00:Final credit estimate, 26117.00 points
15:36:59:WU01:FS00:Sending unit results: id:01 state:SEND error:NO_ERROR project:17231 run:16 clone:2 gen:28 core:0xa7 unit:0x000000020000001c0000434f00000010
15:37:40:WU01:FS00:Final credit estimate, 22296.00 points
However, https://apps.foldingathome.org/wu#proje ... 274&gen=19 shows 3600 points instead of about 26k
https://apps.foldingathome.org/wu#proje ... e=2&gen=28 only shows 3.310 points instead of about 22k.
The account stats also only show a very low amount of points.
I don't know if it's because I recently switched to a new F@H user ID, but the low stats of this new user made me wonder...
Regards,
Paul

Re: Not enough credit points awarded?
It probably will be as the qrb only applies once 10 wus returned successfully for a username/passkey pairings ... estimated points assume qrb active if passkey is set ... one of the fah web apps allos you to check bonus status

Re: Not enough credit points awarded?
Thanks, Neil, I'll keep an eye on it. I assume by tomorrow morning I'll see the regular amount of points coming in, if not I'll be back

Re: Not enough credit points awarded?
You can use this link - https://apps.foldingathome.org/bonus - to check the bonus status of any username. Including the passkey will provide you the status for that username and passkey pair. Each pair needs to return 10 WUs before the QRB will be added to the points credited for WUs returned after that. You will get the QRB on all WUs after as long as they are completed and returned within the Timeout period, and an 80% return rate is maintained.
The client does its estimates based on whether or not a passkey is entered. It does not query the database system to determine whether or not a username/passkey pair is qualified to receive the bonus points. Clients continually checking in that way would be hard to set so they would not act as an unintended DDOS on the database system.

Re: Not enough credit points awarded?
If you really need several choices of username, fine. Most people have figured out that then can use the same passkey and the same username on all their clients which avoids having to complete 10 new WUs before getting the bonus. i.e.- don't change the username or passkey unless you really need to.
The bonus is a very significant part of the total; very low points means you didn't get a bonus.

Re: Not enough credit points awarded?
It does make sense to have those restrictions on the QRB, thanks for the explanation. After those first 10 jobs, I do get the expected amount of points (well, except for those pesky project 16927 WUs, but that's another subject, with enough threads already open).
I do have multiple machines using the same username/passkey, but there is a reason I switched.
Thanks again!

Re: Not enough credit points awarded?
Tbh there will be a lot of very happy folders (and quite a few support forum volunteers) when the stats for that project are sorted .. I have faith it will happen at some point but as to when - I'm not even going to guess !!
