One of my coworkers is trying to run folding@home, and keeps getting the following error message:
"The code execution cannot proceed because OpenCL.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."
We tried reinstalling and it hasn't resolved the issue. Does anyone know what could be causing this?
Thanks!

Re: OpenCL.dll error message
Yes.
If it is Windows, they just need to download the driver from the Vendor, not Microsoft.

https://www.geforce.com/drivers
If it is Linux there is a second install phase, and I am not an expert. Let us know!
To get more detail we would need to know about their PC, the first 200 lines of their log would tell us all the configuration details.

Re: OpenCL.dll error message
Check to see if Windows Update ran recently and updated the video drivers. The ones from MS do not include the OpenCL support, and often mess up any existing support already installed by the previous driver install. Downloading and installing drivers from AMD or nVidia as needed for the GPU should fix this.
Basically the error message is right some of the time, a link to the OpenCL support could have been messed up for the client folding core. But it does not detect the issue described above, an enhancement request was put in a while back to see if a more informative message could be made.

Downloaded the drivers from NVIDIA and that fixed it. Thanks for your help!
