"Pause Work" doesn't.

Post by clcradiogm »

I have been using the 5.03 since about it's 3rd day out. Have been teaming up with DL.TV'ss crew. I don't think I will be allowed to run 5.04 without permission from our ITS dept head (Difficult, but not impossible).

Until today, after uninstalling AVG Free v8, the 5.03 Pause Work setting used to change to Paused - it no longer changes from Pause Work to Paused and the CPU% usage remains the same (% does not change - I use TaskInfo for process views/controls). Would I best just set TaskInfo to remember to set 5.03 to Idle or am I better off just installing 5.04 ? (but, if I go to 5.04, how do I get to see the visuals?)

Hello clcradiogm, welcome to the forum.

I have never seen v5.03 no pause when set to do so. v5.04 has no pausing, and no visuals. Try uninstalling and then reinstalling the v5.03 client after the next work unit is completed.

I have uninstalled it three times over a 24 hour period, and re-installed it, and still, when clicking Pause Work, nothing changes. (Waiting for 1 work unit to finish? That can takes hours sometimes!)

Wait - until now! I just checked it again, and magically delicious, she seems to be warming to my caress!

Thank me. I am not sure this should go in the FAQ or not!
