WU 13409 doesn't start

Hi everybody,

About 7hrs ago, the last GPU-WU 16443 (0, 2289. 32) finished sucessfully after running about 4.x days.
The new GPU WU 13409 (433, 161, 1) was loaded immediately.
However it doesn't start.

CPU WU 13851 (0, 15469, 147) runs nicely.

Recently I stopped the FAH process, restarted the PC, restarted the FAH Process, but it didn't help.

Just to add: Laptop runs 24/7 without additional other tasks, nor active screensaver or anything else, GPU is 100% available for this job.

It is the first time, that I face this problem.

No changes were done on my OS (WIN10 + newest updates).

When you're assigned a WU that needs a specific FAHCore that you don't have or it needs a later version, it should download to support that WU.

@bruce: If I understand you right, the correct FAHcore version should be deliverd automatically from the server.
Thats what I would expect as well.

I don't know, what to do now.
Recently I had the problem viewtopic.php?f=74&t=35338#p335045 and invested really a lot of hours, to help to find the reason, and it was worth it.
But that should be an exceptional situation though.

But now I feel a little bit lost and my motivation is slightly reduced.

I don't know is it mistake oder the system's mistake.
But it is really not my intention to become an expert of the technical background.
Just let me run the software in the background on my computer, it's not only that i donate my processor time, in a way that my desktop apps are slowed down something, its as well a lot of electrical energy which goes to my bill. All that is enough donation, and it's not in my focus to put too much time into making it run and maintaining the system.

As displayed in the log above, it is in an endless loop.

So please, can anybody give me a hint where I can find a description how to get rid of that ?
I don't have time nor enough expertise, to find that by myself.

Please note that we have notified the people about this. As a workaround, stop your client and delete FahCore_22.exe from your folder. Start up the client and hopefully, the correct version will be downloaded. Please do post the log file showing this issue for verification that it works fine.

Per the instructions above. you deleted C:\Users\eriwa\AppData\Roaming\FAHClient\cores/cores.foldingathome.org/v7/win/64bit/Core_22.fah/FahCore_22.exe and presumably you restarted your client I'm going to guess that that file was not reinstated. Right?

Have you ever run beta projects?

I'm going to assume that C:\Users\eriwa\AppData\Roaming\FAHClient\cores/cores.foldingathome.org/v7/win/64bit/beta/Core_22.fah/FahCore_22.exe also does not exist.
