Why won't my Protein Viewer work?

Post by Lazyluna678 »

Whenever I load up the protein viewer, it always stays on "Trying" connection and never connects to my account. Can someone help please?

Did you download latest FAhClient 7.6.13? https://foldingathome.org/start-folding/

I’m not sure. Is there a section that shows you what version you are using at the moment? I downloaded it around about 20 days ago

The version of the client shows in the logs, the System Info tab of FAHControl, and a number of other ways. But 20 days ago most likely you would have downloaded 7.5.1 which has a known issue with the FAHViewer on Windows and for viewing GPU projects on all OSs.
