Although I'm relatively sure that I could get such approval, now it's not the right time to bring that point to management, so I'll uninstall f@h client from that work computer.

I apologize to others in this thread for having taken their time to answer me questions that will no longer apply to my use case. (well, it may be useful for other users...)

I'm about to finish my home linux server setup and be ready to switch off my work f@h client.

One question: is the linux f@h client suitable to run on a headless ubuntu server? I don't want to install any gui packages in this server.

If you're comfortable with CLI, then you can only install the FAHClient package (skip FAHControl and FAHViewer). You can also control that headless Server from a different machine using FAHControl if you configure the headless server as such.

So it won't install any graphical stuff in the server, right?
It doesn't seem to, from the client deb info below, but I just want to make sure I won't loose time cleaning up the server from all graphical stuff it may install together.
