F@H Discord Server
Hello folks!
I'm new to the forums, and I'm a volunteer to the F@H team that has been helping them a bit internally.
I've been working with Anton and some other folks at F@H to get an official Discord server set up to have another public communication channel. It seems like a good place to connect with our community when so many of them are part of the gaming community as well.
Before we do a full public launch, we'd love for any of you here to join now and give us feedback while we continue to add new things and bring in a larger moderation team in preparation for the public launch.
Please do join us there if you use Discord or want to start using Discord to have another place to connect with folks from F@H, and also new members of the community!
Below is the link. Thanks much!

The thread will now always stay at top
Re: F@H Discord Server
Is there a room in the discord channel for dev/sdk related chat? Like anybody trying to use the API etc. to create their own tools etc. ?

Re: F@H Discord Server
I do not use Discord because of privacy concerns and their hostility to third-party clients. Perhaps consider an IRC or Matrix room?

Re: F@H Discord Server
There's a developer section?
Edit: Oh, you were replying to the previous poster asking about third-party tool development. There is indeed a section for that.

Re: F@H Discord Server
FAH is partly open-source and partly closed-source. As such, developer activities are somewhat limited. We are a support forum for FAH so I don't really recommend our site for developers of something other than the open-source parts of FAH.
The same is true for the FAH_Discord. If you want to call that "hostility" then so be it. Find a general purpose developer site. Our EULA requires you to use the approved client when working on scientific projects that get returned to our website. Hacking our client is a great way to corrupt the science which is our only goal. ... and we will do anything possible to avoid that corruption.
The API is fair game, of course, but it's being revised, so good luck.
