AMD RX 5700 XT running Core_22 beta projects 11738 & 11739 have an average PPD of 1.2M to 1.4M (not overclocked and power set to -15%)

On NVidia GPUs, it appears that high temperatures are the main performance bottleneck.

When you publish your spreadsheet for hardware PPD, please remember that FAH officially does not support overclocking. You may be interested in overclocking and what kind of settings may be applied to a GPU, but that's NOT a function that readers of this forum need for basic support. If you're suggesting that a out-of-the-box setting on your GPU is observed to be unstable, then by all means report it. If you're suggesting that your fan does not properly cool a non-overclocked GPU, the by all means, report it.
If you're trying to increase your PPD, then go elsewhere to discuss it. Any "performance bottleneck" should have been properly taken into account by the manufacturer who sold you the GPU.
The objective here is to obtain stable performance and you're welcome to report (ONLY) the non-overclocked PPD in your spreadsheet, not the maximum that you might be able to obtain with additional tweaking. There are many team-sites which make that a priority, and you're welcome to join any one of those teams to learn more.

I have the Sapphire RX 5700XT Pulse running under Windows 10.What are the thermals and power consumption numbers this GPU is running at?
At stock settings it consumes around 180-190 Watts and the temperature is stable at around 76C (Junction Temp 90C) - the fan works at around 40%
In order to reduce the fan noise (not much noise but my PC is at the living room) I have the power setting at -15% which results in 160-170 Watts consumption, temp at 74C and the fan at 25%
This means that I have some reduced performance which I have not calculated but believe to be around 5%-10% from some rough estimates of the TPF difference between the two settings. It would be nice to get some feedback from other users with the same card.

The linked "hardware PPD" list is a bit optimistic, unless you are going to push your card HARD.
80% of those numbers is more of a good ballpark figure if you are running your cards for longevity.
I wouldn't bother with anything Nvidia older/lower than the GTX 1060, or anything AMD other than Vega models and the RX5700, unless you already HAVE the GPU.
Too low of production compared to current cards to be worth putting money into them just for Folding.
The 2080ti is a ton faster than the 2080 because it has a TON more cores to work with - same reason the 1080ti was a TON faster than the 1080.
Not quite double the cores in each case, but more than half again.

I have been tracking every successful project that I have completed with my 5700 XT. Recently, I started playing around with the clocks to find out various points of efficiency. I have only been back to folding for a few weeks now and haven't gotten far in that efficiency testing, but here is the spreadsheet I have been using to track everything: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... ingle=true

I have a Quadro P5000 on my HP ZBook 17 G4. Running on Linux Ubuntu 18.04 with the FAHCore_x22 client, I get around 530K PPD, all default (no overclocking, no power-limiting, etc).
Depending on how warm the weather is, I have to put a table fan blowing directly on top of the machine, or else the laptop starts heat-limiting the CPU after a few hours (yes, using the GPU intensely makes the CPU temperature go up too -- appreciably more than just what 1 CPU core being used at 100% would).

There is a current thread seeking logs from HFM so that an accurate database of the current hardware can be made. Since there seems to have been a PPD improvement from CORE_21 to CORE_22 projects, that is also noted. Since it's based on currently active users on the forum, it might also be a better way for people seeking specifics of brand, clocks, voltages, etc.
