Errors on servers

Post by mazzucha »

I'm getting the following errors on my servers (OVA VMWare appliance):
WARNING:WU00:FS00:Failed to get assignment from '18.218.241.186:80' : 10002: Received short response, expected 272 bytes, got 0

Checked firewall, No AV. Whitelisted all domains and IP I can try finding. Netstat says the connection is Established on that IP.

just down to load, nothing to be done unfortunately. You can wait and let it retry in a little while.

Welcome to the F@H Forum mazzucha,

Please note that for that specific IP Address, it shouldn't be impacted by the current load as it can manage it (it's an AWS instance). I would suggest that you read through this topic, specifically the section about Troubleshooting The Assignment Server (AS): viewtopic.php?f=18&t=17794

Okay, good news is that you don't have any firewall issues. Can you please post your log file. Ensure that you have copied the System configuration which is present at the start of the log file: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=26036 :)
I am curious as to what hardware the client has detected on your system.

@PantherX - Well. I didn't have any firewall issues, but I did have web filtering issues. ;) I bypassed those IPs, and I'm folding like a cholo.
Thanks for all your help, and couch me through it!

Thanks for that, I have updated the thread about troubleshooting servers with your comment about filtering (and obviously credited you for that).
