Client says its online but is inactive

Client says its online but is inactive
When I hit the fold button nothing happens. I haven't changed any default settings but I am signed in, have a passkey, and in a team. I just can't get the client to be active. At times there are more folding clients requesting work than the servers can provide connections to. It is getting better as more servers are added - viewtopic.php?f=16&t=33193.
If you want to check the client further, you can check the log that is shown in a window through the advanced control - FAHControl. It is located inside the Folding@home folder installed in Applications. If the message are can not connect or work not available for this configuration, that would be related to the high rate of requests.
If that is all, eventually you should get a work assignment. If ou see other errors you can post here and we will try to assist you.
