Hi,
My team have worked to deploy Folding@Home to a large number (350+) of Linux desktops at our university while students are away due to the COVID-19 lockdown in the UK. We use Puppet to manage all of our Linux desktops/servers so have been working on a Puppet module to automate deployment and configuration of the fahclient RPM package. Because this process is completely non-interactive, we have deployed the config.xml file using a template to fill in username/group/slot configuration options. We'd like to make our Puppet module as generic and configurable as possible so others can use it - and the main issue we've had doing is that the config.xml file is not fully documented - at least not that I can find. Is there a reference for this file?
If any fellow Puppet users would like to make use of our module I can provide a link to it.
Thanks,
Xand
