Using GPU on Mac OS X
I know that Mac OS X does not support OpenCL 2.1 or 2.2. However, I would like to use my GPU (Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 1536 MB) for folding on my Mac. Is there any workaround that will allow me to download OpenCL 2.1/2.2 and utilize my GPU (e.g. using a headless VM) while using Mac OS X for general purpose things?

Re: Using GPU on Mac OS X
The only way to use your GPU in a Mac at this time is to boot up using Linux or Windows. There is no GPU folding core available to use on the macOS.
In this case, you could not use the Iris Pro, none of the Intel iGPUs are supported for folding on any OS.

Unfortunately then, I'll have to stick with my CPU, which while is working hard, isn't contributing much.Joe_H wrote:In this case, you could not use the Iris Pro, none of the Intel iGPUs are supported for folding on any OS.
