Help: Unable to Modify Team

Post by keeperofkeys »

Hi,
I'm trying to modify my existing folding@home team 115101 using the web address listed on the folding@home website

however when I try it keeps telling me "Invalid team number or password or nothing changed", when I request a new password it just informs me "Last reset request was less than 4 hours ago." but I have received nothing..

Am I using the correct website or do i need to contact someone to fix my account??

Welcome to the folding support forum.

I will send a message to the PG member who can assist you in resetting your account information for your team. He should be in contact with you by PM.

Hi keeperofkeys,

It appears our system has changed since the last time a team update was needed on our end, so I'll have to dig into this over the next day or two, but I'll be in contact with you in the next few days, as soon as I'm able to address this for you.

@keeperofkeys, I double checked and found that the password reset email feature is working correctly. You do have to wait 4 hours between requests. Have you checked your spam? Your team email is at themud.org. If you think you know the password, make sure you follow the instructions on the page. Please try again and let us know if it works or not.

Hi,
Finally received a password reset email today, didn't request it myself but it arrived, so I assume someone worked their magic and I was successfully able to reset the password.

Thanks All

Adam, I may have triggered the email. I think there was a problem with how it tracked when the last email was sent. I think it's fixed now.

Sorry for the thread necromancy, but I'm attempting to modify my team and get confirmation from the page that it was successful. However, when I search for the team by the number(32035)it shows the old team info, not what I attempted to modify it to.

Any help on this would be appreciated!

The stats websites updates on a periodic basis so sometimes it won't show up right away. The change should be there tomorrow, I'd expect.

I think the web pages might be under some caching system. The updates you make to your team page will propagate later.

Hola toTOW,

Now that things have begun to level out a bit with work availability and such, have you heard anything in regards to team info modifications not working or reflecting post change?
