Hi all,
I was thinking about folding this morning. What happens when you stop folding and say turn the machine off? For example, imagine I wanted to stop for a week or two. I would pause the system and then turn it off. Would that work unit then sit idle for the remaining period of it's allocated time and then time out, causing the work to be handed to someone else?
Would it be a good idea to put a more "Permanent" stop setting into the program. One which would immediately cancel the work unit you have running and hand it onto the next person to help avoid delays?
Let me know what you think. I might have understood the logic wrong anyway!

If you use the Finish button, it completes the current Work Unit, but does not start a new one.
That is the most graceful way to stop for some time.

Yeah I have seen that now. Although that still leaves me in a predicament where I could end up waiting up to about 16 hours for it to hurry up and finish off a project. I was just thinking from a productivity point of view it'd be nice to have a button that basically says.JimboPalmer wrote:If you use the Finish button, it completes the current Work Unit, but does not start a new one.

"Right, I need to turn off. Sorry but here is my unfinished work unit" rather than it just stopping and then timing out maybe 14 or so days later.

F@H tries very hard not to make it easy to cherry pick just those Work Units you want, so I doubt that will ever be an option.
