Hi there,
the program only allows me to fold when my computer is plugged in. Is there a way to change this, so that I can let the program run on my laptop-battery?
I'm sorry if this is the wrong channel for this I just couldn't find one where I could ask this question.
Cheers,
Kenneth

There is an option that will allow you to run on battery, but I definitely don't recommend using it. It will drain your battery fast and also reduce its life.
The option is called pause-on-battery in Expert tab of Advanced control > Configure menu.

I have 4 laptops hooked to a UPS about the size of a bread loaf with battery similar to a Motorcycle battery. I had solar panels installed yesterday, so the electricity was off, and 4 laptops drained a 6 inch by 4 inch by 3 inch battery in 15 minutes. Then they went to sleep. Your tiny laptop battery is not going to cope well with F@H.

I use the option, the only reason I do is that my cat would disconnect the MagSafe power adapter connector for my MacBook Pro by jumping onto my lap or chair. Even just off for a minute or less a few percent of the battery charge would be drained.
