How to join a Covid Project?

Hi everyone,

I´m new over here. I would like to know how to configure the client to join an specific project? I found the way to join a team but, not to enter on a project to contribute against the Covid.

I am new too and wondered the same thing

It seems that COVID19 projects are top priority, so you will automatically be assigned those WUs.

Hi,
in webcontrol, serach for "I support research fighting" and check "any disease"
then start "advanced control" over the icon, "configure" -> "advanced" and choose "any" on "cause preference"

The software should be set up to pick up COVID-19 projects out of the box. No customization is necessary at the moment. There is very high demand for this kind of research, both from scientists and from volunteers, so the teams have been getting more and more of them into the queue. Bear in mind that F@h has just seen a very rapid and massive expansion of its userbase, so the servers are absolutely flooded and there may be times when no workunits are available because the queue of work is empty. They are currently working on setting up more servers and getting more work online, so just keep everything running and it should pick up COVID-19 workunits when they become available.
