Infinite loop

Post by Eldnsay »

Hello, I'm new here.
Seems I have a problem and I can't find the solution in this forum. (I'm also new to forums)

My client (I think it's called that, whatever it opens in your browser) keeps refreshing, and now I don't know it it's because the servers are down or it's my computer's fault. If I try to manually refresh, it also infinite-loops, this didn't happen 2 days ago when I installed the program.

I also couldn't get a passkey. No email was sent, tried twice. Looked at spam and everything, email is correct.

I had to manually end tasks because they were eating up 100% of my cpu.

Help?

There is a known issue with the Google Chrome browser and some of the chromium based browsers. Workarounds that have been posted include trying another browser, Firefox works for instance. Or using Chrome people have reported using incognito mode and clearing the cache have stopped it from constantly refreshing.

A FAQ is in the works.

The fastest way to fix that in Chrome is to press F12 to open developer tools and check the box "Disable cache". The next time it refreshes it will work and you can close the developer tools. Also the "Disable cache" option is remembered, so the next time it happens all you need is to press F12, wait for the page to stop loading and close the developer tools.

P.S. Consider installing FAHViewer - it is a desktop program that will allow you to control FAHClient without access to the web. It also allows more stuff than the web interface.

Thank you! Thank you! Working for me again!

Aside from the status display, I wanted easy control over “When: While I'm working / Only when idle”. I did not see that on FAHViewer (which came in the same installation as the rest of FAH.)
