In regards to adding passkeys after folding...
As the title says, I have a question regarding what happens when you add passkeys after completing WU's. While I know about how passkeys work (10 WU's with 80% or more return rate to start earning bonus points, secures your points, etc), what happens to the points you already earned when you didn't have a passkey? Are they reassigned or do they just stick under your name?

Welcome to Folding@Home!
Your Points are yours. They stay with the name and team they were earned under. Nothing ever changes that.
The passkey helps if your name is John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt and that is my name too. Since we have different passkeys, you don't get my points and I don't get yours, as F@H can tell us apart.
So whenever we go out and the people always shout "There goes John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt", F@H is not confused.

{Name1,Passkey1} is tabulated independently of {Name2,Passkey1} as well as {Name1,Passkey2} ... and as well as {Name1,(no_Passkey)}
You can search the database for Name1 and find separate values that can be added together, but there can be many people who have used Name1 without a passkey.

My points did disappear when I got a passkey added, but I'm not folding for points so I couldn't care lessJimboPalmer wrote:Your Points are yours. They stay with the name and team they were earned under. Nothing ever changes that.

Well, not actually disappeared, just don't show on the Web Control since it looks for username and passkey for that field.arne1612 wrote:My points did disappear when I got a passkey added, but I'm not folding for points so I couldn't care less

So pretty much, they show up under the same username, but F@H knows which client/key combo has said amount of points in the backend. Okay then. Also, on another note, what is the delay between a WU being completed and then getting the points? I just completed a WU for 9000 or so base credits, and they haven't shown up yet. ^^;

It can take an hour or two for a WU to show up in the stats database after being uploaded. You can do a check yourself using the WU Status lookup at apps.foldingathome.org. You just need the numbers for project, run, clone and gen.

So, I guess it's 10 WU's AFTER creating a passkey? I ran about 12 WU's before the key system started sending emails again, but my count on the /bonus page only shows 5 WU's with 100% completion.
