Any settings I can change to fix this or is it normal when I have just installed the software?

There is a good chance we have DDoS'd F@H. Just be patient and leave it running or turn your computer on later to try again.

Okay, then I'll just let it stay on and hope my computer can be of use soon

Many people are seeing the "No WUs available for this configuration. Could not get an assignment" messages due to the massive growth of users consuming the available workunits in the queue. Your machine should pick up new workunits soon once they become available.
F@h is now the top computing platform on the planet and nothing unites people like a dedicated fight against a common enemy. This virus affects all of us. Lets end it together.

That would explain why i haven't been able to get any WU's. I'm a newbie but figured that a influx would have been a problem.
