Can GPU and CPU fold at the same time?

It seems that only one of them will fold at a time.

Yes, both can fold at the same time, however due to the large influx of new folders the servers have been temporarily running of of some types of WU's - Subject: Temporary server outages

Both can fold at the same time with very little loss of performance of either one.

The reason you think that there might be a problem is that servers deliver WUs independently and all of the servers are having trouble delivering enough WUs.

Hi - Am very new at this, as I downloaded last night wanting to help with the Covid cause amongst others (don’t know if this is the right place to post, apologies if not).

I’ve started with CPU, but after many attempts to unsuccessfully find WUs due to the increased demand, I added a GPU slot as well, incase there was more demand for those, but that’s still coming with the same issue.

Can I just check if there is still huge demand for both CPU and GPU, and rotating through attempts for both without success is fine at the moment? (Running the client through an iMac)

The issue with servers going offline temporarily still applies, give the researchers a chance to wake up and get their machines back up and sending out work.
