With the FAH client, there does not seem to be a way to prevent the client from using certain servers and/or projects. This is a real problem as the below servers are prioritised but offline mostly due to being overloaded:
140.163.4.231
140.163.4.241
I'd rather my GPUs did something else rather than waste time waiting for these servers to come back up. A config to exclude them would be useful or maybe a way to select certain projects? We might not want to be allocated work by what you specify and clearly the work is not assigning very well as the above servers are crippled. The client should auto-select something else to do.

Subject: Temporary server outages
The servers already will switch to a different one if there is work available there. The issue earlier today was that all servers with GPU work had been drained of available WU's. Due to the successful advertising for this project by supporters, first starting about a week ago, and then in the last 24-48 hours the servers have gone from assigning less than 10,000 WU's an hour about 10 days ago to about 15,000 yesterday, and now currently at over 110,000 WU's an hour.

Ah right so we cannot feed the GPUs fast enough. Thanks for the info, appreciated.

Re: Ability to select which servers / projects to use
Exactly that, the science teams are generating new servers as fast as they can but it takes a while. Things should be better today, my 4 gpu's are all working for the first time in days - there's usually been 1 or 2 waiting for workblandyuk wrote:Ah right so we cannot feed the GPUs fast enough.
