How to prevent FAH from getting new work after reboot?

Post by zombie67 »

I frequently switch back and forth between FAH and BOINC. Using Finish to complete a FAH task and stop getting new tasks works just fine, when I want to switch to BOINC. But I need FAH to stay idle even after reboot. I searched the forum and found several references to being able to configure the client so that it does not start folding automatically after a reboot, but no details on how exactly to do it. I looked around in the advanced tool, but can't find that setting anywhere. How do I do this? TIA!

Welcome to the folding supped forum.

The method of setting the folding client to not start is to add the parameter pause-on-start set to the value of true to either a folding slot configuration or in the Expert tab to apply to all folding slots.
