Hi
I am getting back into FAH again and thinking to use a GPU only for FAH on my Windows 10 desktop (Core i5).
Trying to decide between either nVidia RTX2070 or Radeon RX Vega 64.
Any thoughts or issues I should consider?
Thanks
Which GPU is better?

Assuming you wish to Maximize Point Per Day, the RTX 2070.

Thanks, I guess not much has changed over the last 10 years!
I went for the EVGA RTX 2070 XC which was going for a good deal on Amazon.

Depends what your goals are,
If you fold occasionally, I think you'll get best bang for the buck with AMD.
If you fold continuously, go with Nvidia.
But as for the choice of card, I would opt for a 2080 over a 2070.
Or, get a 2060.
The 2060's performance is close (within 5-10% the same) as the 2070; but costs $150-$200 less.
I personally don't think it's worth the price difference between the two models (it would take a 2070 to run about 15 years to break even on initial purchase price, on electric bill).
if you're planning on getting something faster than a 2060, for continuous folding, get a 2080. You won't be disappointed in the $100 extra you paid for the card, in the long run!

Re: Which GPU is better?
Thanks for the insight. I actually had the chance to cancel my order for the 2070 (due to rare Amazon delivery failure), so I have ordered the EVGA RTX 2080 XC instead.

Great choice!
EVGA runs pretty cool, and thus fast and silent too.
EVGA is also known for their great customer service, as they have establishments in USA.
