User Points vs User points in teams

Question about Username and Teams. I used to be in team 51950 and now in 1971. I see I should up twice in this page:
http://folding.stanford.edu/stats/donors
when I type Akeron

Question is: Why are my points not combined? and is there a way to combine my old points with new ones? (not for the the team but for personal stats)

You have used two different passkeys (perhaps including a blank passkey). Passkeys are treated as the unique identification of Donors. Usernames are not unique.

In other words, Akeron+passkey1 is treated as a different account from Akeron+passkey2. (This would probably seem more reasonable for a common name like "john" + several passkeys.)

No, the accounts cannot be combined within FAH's stats system. If they're both you, you can manually add the two together. Some of the 3rd party stats sites combine repeated names, but that would be a disaster for you if your name was john. because your points would be combined with those of may others who have chosen that Username.

So the best course of action is finding my old passkey since the older account has more points... hmm tough. Any easier way to accomplish that?

Sorry for replying to my reply but seems I was wrong... It does add the work units and the Work Units, just not the rank. Will try to find an old passkey in my emails. If that fails, or if I didn't have a passkey back then, anything else I can try?

If you request a passkey using the same username and email address, the same passkey will be sent to you.

But that will be of limited use on the current official stats site. The old stats site allowed searches on username, team and/or passkey. But the option of specifying your passkey was not included when the official site was updated. A request has been put in to restore that functionality, but no idea if/when that might happen.

That is the old site, did you have it bookmarked? I guess it is still up, but no links to the old stats from the main pages of the current active FAH site.
