The temple researchers are, but they are at the mercy of their campus IT, just as the Pande Group is at Stanford. I have never seen either campus IT post here, Protein Folding is not even a blip on their work load. Temple has 55,000 network nodes to support, I once dealt with 1000 nodes. The chain of command is going to be more than one level.

Were all the missing WUs from 155.247.166.220 and 155.247.166.219? If not, you might want to start another post. If so, confirm here for the forum administrator.

Yes. I am running F@H on over 40 Macs and 2 PC laptops from three different locations and their configuration have not changed in over one year so this is not a localized problem. Look at my monthly/weekly/daily WU points to see the dramatic drop off since mid November. My computers all show that they are actively processing WUs but there is no record of their points progress.

Re: No credit from 155.247.166.220 and 155.247.166.219
I'm in the same boat too. I have a number of computers folding in my office, and from Nov 14th to now my points have been 1/3 of what they were. While the points are more of a fun way to see impact and progress (and friendly competition) the research is more important. However, it is frustrating to see so many technical errors on the donor support side; we are giving our electricity and processing time. Any update on getting this fixed and the points credited?
EDIT: I've confirmed that aside from 1gpu and 1 machine, the rest of my folding computers are on the 220 & 219 IPs.

Tom/Justin-- To reiterate: This thread relates to a specific issue with stats reporting from two servers at Temple U (155.247.166.220 and 155.247.166.219) to the Stanford stats server. If your issues are associated with additional servers, you likely have different issues and should start new threads so your issues can be more effectively addressed by the Forum administrators.

Re: No credit from 155.247.166.220 and 155.247.166.219
Add me to the list of people not receiving credit stats from 166.219. According to the stats page, my last work unit was on Dec 2 (it is now the 10th). I have not checked all the logs to see if there are other work servers involved. Most of my work over the last week have been 1374x work units and 166.219 is listed as the server for those projects.
Re: No credit from 155.247.166.220 and 155.247.166.219
Ok, I realize this is kind of a dick move, but is there a way to not get assigned to these work servers? Set CPUs to some value that will never get assigned there or something like that? Every day that goes by I'm being awarded less points than the previous which makes me think I'm somehow being assigned more often to these two servers. I'm currently being awarded 1/15 of the total points I was a month ago. My team is in the middle of a competition and I fear that the issue will not be resolved by the time the competition is over. I've tried blocking these two IPs as well as redirecting the connections to other work servers, but that doesn't work and resulted in my nodes being idle. Any ideas?

The last I heard there was supposed to be a reset at the end of last week. After that the campus IT would be checking the two servers before green lighting them. Have not heard further on this, but was spending most of my forum time looking into the login issue that was resolved over the weekend.kofther wrote:Thanks Joe. The Reject says the server is inaccessible from Stanford. (Probably needs somebody at Temple to reboot it, though it could be part of the firewall issue.)

Confirming that I can't get WU's back to 220 either. I have over 40 SMP systems that have been in production folding for several years. No configuration changes have been made. I don't recall when this first started happening, 2-3 weeks ago?

It started about three weeks ago. It coincided with me bringing some SMP systems back online, and I couldn't figure out why my PPD was barely increasing. I use EOC stats to determine if I need to fix anything, so it threw me off for a bit. Something similar to this happened back in February I think, where not all SMP WUs were being credited. I think around the end of March it was fixed and the giant point dump occurred. You'll know when Temple fixes this because you'll get a massive update on your pointsRamonetB wrote:Confirming that I can't get WU's back to 220 either.
