Re: Extreme Overclocking Stats not updating
Looks like it has resolved itself. Is kakao stats better to use?
Re: Extreme Overclocking Stats not updating
They both use the same flat-files generated at Stanford (except in rare instances like this weekend).
The main difference is just the phasing of when something comes back on-line and when the 3rd party stats happens to download the updated data.

I'd like to say I'm joking, but the flat files stopped pulling again after todays 5pm Eastern update.
Re: Stats not updating?
Correct.
Apparently fah-web.stanford.edu. is down again which probably means that we soon will be flooded with messages about the stats not updating and other things are not working. From what I can see, it looks an awful like what was broken Monday(=) has happened again.

Re: Stats not updating?
Actually the stats server is up and the Official Stats are being updated - http://folding.stanford.edu/statistics/. What is down is fah-web.stanford.edu, that is a front end server that has various scripts running such as to generate the team and donor flat files. As posted before, they are in the process of moving these functions off fah-web, they will announce when that is ready to go live.

The fan-web.stanford.edu front end server has been restarted. Donor and Team flat files have been updated as of 9:20 AM PDT.

Re: Stats not updating?
I probably should close this topic.
The title is incorrect. In fact, the stats HAVE BEEN updating. All you have to do is go to http://folding.stanford.edu/stats/donors or http://folding.stanford.edu/stats/teams to get your current stats.
I fully understand that the 3rd party stats sites provide extra value ... and fah-web needs to be running for the flat files to be updated ... but the answer to the question "Stats not updating?" has been "Yes, they are"

Re: Stats not updating?
So, a better title would be '3rd Party Stats not updating?' then as we're not allowed to tie into the API to pull our stats from.
I can verify from an external point of view that the flat files are indeed now downloading properly, also.
Thanks again, everyone!

I Think that they also shoul update the folding client. When I click om my name it's supposed to take me to my stats page but the linc http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/mai ... e=Simplex0 does not work any more.
Is there a new client out and if so is it supposed to update automatically?
Re: Stats not updating?
Now it works again to access the stats page from the folding client. I wonder how many hours it will work this time until it failes again, It's almost friday
