Haveing trouble downloading the client
Is this still the url for the client? https://folding.stanford.edu/releases/p ... .4_x86.exe it keeps giving me a "this page can't be displayed" error.

Re: Haveing trouble downloading the client
The Windows download linked from this page - http://folding.stanford.edu/start-folding/ - worked just fine for me right now. It may have been a temporary glitch, a cursory glance at the URL you gave looked the same as the one I downloaded from.

Still not getting in, this is a brand new OS install, no updates or browser plugins etc. Wonder if its some dependency on that front. Is there any other place to get the client from?

That page, and the page for downloading the public beta version 7.4.16 - https://folding.stanford.edu/beta/, are the only places to get the client. My guess is that default settings after the OS install might be blocking download of an .exe file. The other possibility is that your Windows installer has older security certificates that need updates to open the HTTPS connection to do the download.
