Stats server seems to be going down a lot, no way to fix this problem? Perhaps a new server?

I am receiving, folding and sending WU's. But I am not seeing any points registering.
Is there a problem with the servers?

One of the things I have learned is that routine maintenance sometimes isn't so routine. Sometimes one has to define "Thursday" as extending until 8am Friday Pacific Daylight Saving Time. (I have had to do things like that on rare occasion when I applied software maintenance at the local community college.)

At least we have the stated intent that we will get the points that we should have been accumulating during server maintenance and that the WUs that our systems complete will help further science.

Yes an important IT guideline is "Never start a downtime on a Friday, you will still be there on Monday". I do hope they get it up today so they don't have to work all weekend.

Unfortunately the FAH team is not the IT team, so getting a new ETA is several levels removed from the guys who are doing the work. At lease cxh is in contact with SOMEBODY in IT and he announced he doesn't have good information.

I wish that was different, but it's a fact of life.

Stats back up, but only show 4 work units for all the time they have been down. I have 5 computers going, although some only do small units. Only about 3500 points additional .

There were 6,215,007 points showing during the maintenance.
