Donor WU(Work Units) Completed shows 0???
This was taken from one of the gaming forums I usually go to, this was written by me over the course of past several or more days ago.
Maybe you all can help:
Hello, I just recently went back to folding @ home the other day and I just completed roughly 7 WU or Work Units, If I look the team I just made up, the Certificate shows the proper amounts of WU being completed but soon as I click on the Donor's name, now it says on the certificate 0?
I also learned that if you make a donor name it must be only letters or numbers in order for the donor's Wu's to be shown properly on the certificate, is this true?
Thanks for helping.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah the site says 1 hr.
Interestingly enough, I just created a new donor's name and folded 5 WU's, the certificate now says I folded only 2, guess its working now but it needs to be updated.
I read some forums about this issue, Some people been waiting for weeks, months, etc and still have not gone passed WU 0, wow.
UPDATE:
Still says 2 on the new donor's name.
Whats interesting is that when I view my team list, and If I click on the donor's name from there, the WU portion, it shows the correct WU thats been completed, if I go into my donor's certification part, For some reason unknown, the WU shows 0.
Well thanks for your help.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just to let you all know, Under my main Donor's name: Still shows WU completed = 0, however when I check Team list, then from there I click on the same donor's name, it shows the correct WU this time, the link is basically almost the same.
This is my original donor's name I created and shows WU 0 Completed:
http://fah-web2.stanford.edu/awards/cac ... m21.21.jpg
This one is under Team List and click the same Donor's name/WU:

Below is the link to my Team and members(Only me as of now)
http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/mai ... num=230260
Any help would be very grateful at this point.

Re: Donor WU(Work Units) Completed shows 0???
Welcome to the folding support forum.
From the PG site, the page about usernames is pretty clear about just using letters, numbers and underscores for a folding name - https://folding.stanford.edu/home/fah-user-name/. Many of the stats functions will work to some extent with a name that does not stick to those characters, but not always. What information do you see when you search using the donor search on the official stats site?
Stats are generally updated once an hour, occasionally it takes longer or an update fails. Periodically PG does do scans for uncredited WU's, and those do eventually get credited.
Some numbers displayed on the certificates are rounded down, that may explain some of the results you see.
Beyond that we would need more information about specific usernames and team names to check stats.

Re: Donor WU(Work Units) Completed shows 0???
Well if the correct amount of WU completed below where it says team members, shouldn't that be ok??? I clicked on the WU of that donor's name, came out as 23:
http://fah-web2.stanford.edu/awards/cac ... m21.23.jpg
And the same Ol' 0 again:
http://fah-web2.stanford.edu/awards/cac ... m21.23.jpg
I also checked another donor's name under my team, this time with just letters and _ only, supposed to show 5 but only 2:
http://fah-web2.stanford.edu/awards/cac ... y_Jr.5.jpg
Then if clicked the WU tab under where it says team members, interestingly enough, nothing changed:
http://fah-web2.stanford.edu/awards/cac ... y_Jr.5.jpg
Question, does this mean I have to start all over again by scratch?

Re: Donor WU(Work Units) Completed shows 0???
FIRST: The award certificates were designed to be used for significant milestones. I don't remember their definition of "significant" but the numbers have always been truncated. Say, it's every 100 WUs, Then if you had completed 104, it would still say 100. Similarly, if you've completed 7, it would truncate to 0.
SECOND: The @ sign is NOT a letter or a number.
Many donors choose to use their email address for their username. To prevent spambots from harvesting email names, code was developed to avoid posting email names. For example, if I fold under the name bruce@myISP.com, the statistics will show just "bruce" If somebody else folds under the name bruce@hisISP.org, there will be two entries in the stats, and each of us will get proper credit. It should be noted that all email addresses are assumed to of the form name<at>myISP<dot?>com. You're probably the first one who ever registered their email at the site "now" and I suppose you've discovered a bug.
If you want the latest number (from a hour or so ago), use http://folding.stanford.edu/home/teams-stats
I see 6 people who have statistics with names starting with Folding@No and you're probably one of them.
For more precise information, search using your passkey.

Re: Donor WU(Work Units) Completed shows 0???
Take a look at this donor:
http://fah-web2.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/ma ... e=3dmaxmin
The donor used 1 number and bunch of letters in combination and yet his WU completed under his Certificate shows correctly????
I checked a list of other members and they too are showing their certificate correctly, wether it's 2,5, and so on, it doesn't round off, some if it does in high WU completed numbers, I checked the lesser ones, they seem fine.
Question, If you go under my donor name and click on my certificate, it will show 0 however if you click on my team name, then under team members, if you click that same particular Donor, the WU completed show its proper number, is this alright in the end? Or do I have to start all over again my scratch?
If it shows properly underneath team member list but yet it doesn't show on the actual donor then certificate, that should be no problem right?

Re: Donor WU(Work Units) Completed shows 0???
I'm suggesting that the "@" symbol in Folding@Now is not a letter or a number or an underscore. I happens to be working "to some extent" but not the way you want it to.

Your team name and two of your member names are using an apostrophe:
http://kakaostats.alexbueno.me/members?team=230260
Those are the source of your problems and will continue to be unless removed or you could just live with the problems they cause. As already pointed out you can use a passkey to search for your info but I suspect it may be too late for the work already done unless you added passkeys when you started folding. The passkey is necessary if you want to receive bonus points and it does give you a certain level of security.

That name is only for the forums, that ain't for the actual F@H program.bruce wrote:I'm suggesting that the "@" symbol in Folding@Now is not a letter or a number or an underscore. I happens to be working "to some extent" but not the way you want it to.

Are you saying that the 6 people I mentioned above are NOT associated with your missing points?

I do have a passkey, Question, Is there a way to delete my team and its members if they are all coming from one person(ME)?
I made some extra members just to see if proper WU is being shown after is completed.

Once the credit has been applied it cannot be removed nor deleted. Standard project policy.
