People who try to help have access to the same tools you do.
I don't know any way to tell when there's only one WS which is assigning work to you (and therefore a candidate for some (nonexistent) list of "potentially critical Work Servers" associated with your hardware and your settings. (There isn't much you can do about your hardware, but there are several settings that you might be using that unnecessarily limit your selection of potential WSs.) Even if the "potentially critical" list existed, each entry on it (if there was more than one) would only apply to that hardware with those settings. [Some projects are CPU-only, some are 64-bit CPUs only, others may be assigned to any GPU and others might be assigned to specific classes of GPUs)
At least you know which WORK SERVER assigned you the last WU and you can either check the status of that server or ask for help, focusing on what might have reduced the number of WSs that matched your slot's criteria to zero. Of course neither of us knows the hardware and settings of somebody else who also saw the number of useful WSs reduced to zero.
How do you suggest we figure out why the AS cannot find a suitable WS for each of those clients and whether it was the same WS or not?

Experiencing the same problem as everyone else; unable to find any WUs for my GPUs. 19+ hours, 14 attempts and no bueno; next attempt is in an hour, will change some flags to see if that makes a difference. Currently my GPUs are all AMD, but am tempted to fire up some NV rigs to see if I have different results. Leads me to conclude that the bulk of WUs that were available were 9201s. Now that they are offline, the tap is apparently dry. Still have 10+ 9201s that I paused, until the server issue is confirmed to be successfully resolved.

@kwerboom please turn off the verbosity setting. It makes it really hard to figure out what's going on.

ASSUMING you have not previously set "max-packet-size" try setting it to 20. {{This is a test to confirm the problem, not a permanent fix, (but it won't hurt you if you leave it set.)}

Well, maybe the 9712's are gone now because on that machine I'm getting crashing 92xx's, max pkt 20 being of no help. Somehting else I can try while that machine's crashing anyway? Sorry for the earlier mistake.

Setting the client type=advanced and max packet size=big flags snagged me a 9208 from 171.64.65.104

Then it would be the advanced flag that's the one that works, although the max pkt one doesn't hurt anything because I'm getting all kinds of 92xx's (just not the pulled one obviously). So far so good on the 9208; 1.35% completed, but TPF is toughhhhh sledding: 00:17:59!!!

And I am now back on a 9712 on the machine that seemed to want a run of failing 92xx's. Got 9712(1,16,23) from 171.64.65.98 and is happily churning away, having immediately beforehand failed on 9712(2,18,208) from the same place.
