My WU ETA is fluctuating between +/- 2hrs

I don't know what's going on but my system isn't under stress (GPU R9 280) and is overclocked to 1025MHZ GPU Core and 1350 GPU Memory, also looking for any tips to make this go a bit faster.

(Side note, I was working on a 10 hour or so project which then jumped up to 22 hours and just shut down for some reason, Project #: 13001)

Going through your log there are multiple failures shown for about half a dozen or more different WU's from Projects 13000, 13001 and 9201. The reports in the database are just for your attempts, so I can not tell yet whether the WU's are bad. However, with that many successive failures I would suggest reducing or removing your overclock and see if your setup can complete the WU's assigned.

If you do retain the overclock, RAM speed is not very important to folding performance. Leaving the memory speed at the default or using a reduced overclock will reduce the heat output.

I ran a stress test and left it on for about a half hour and everything seemed good. I was having some issues starting 13000, and as for 9201 I shutdown the CPU one because I needed to use my computer. Also, thanks for the tip f running the Memory Clock at stock :)

What did you use for a stress test? Most fail to load a card like folding will and will not ensure a folding stable setup for overclocking. Some recommend an utility named FAHBench which includes a rudimentary Core_17 WU to process. There is a download link on the FAH Utilities page.

Welcome to the folding@home support forum HighMans.

I don't see any mention of which driver you are using for your GPU. If you're not already using 14.9 please give it a try. The later 14.12 has had mixed reviews for folding.

I am using 14.9, one of the issues I've been facing is that I can't just use MSI Afterburner to OC my GPU (R9 280 Sapphire Dual-X), I have to use Catalyst Control Center alongside it too. I need to set Overdrive to my settings (20% Power limit, 1025 MHZ GPU Clock, 1025 MHZ Memory Clock) and then change it in Afterburner for it to be set. I think the problem is that Afterburner can't set my Power Limit Percentage for some reason.

With the 7950 on 14.9 Drivers, I'm getting about ~121,644 per day with a TPF of 8:44 on project #10469.
