Sorry, but no it is not currently possible. Nvidia or AMD/ATI are the only supported GPU's. You can still CPU fold though.

Ok, thanks.P5-133XL wrote:Sorry, but no it is not currently possible. Nvidia or AMD/ATI are the only supported GPU's. You can still CPU fold though.

Any plans to make this possible? It's a lot of gigaflops being wasted, with on-chip GPUs being fairly strong these days.

I'm under the impression that OpenMM based FahCores require some double precision features. AFAIK, current Intel iGPUs have none: https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/topic/393241
I suppose Intel could emulate said features in their driver if they wanted to. However, as we've seen with core18, the emulation can slow things down quite a bit.
Not 100% sure of my explanation though, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about this.

The best use, IMO, for on chip GPUs is to use them as a primary display so that fah can run 24/7 on an AMD or NV GPU without lagging the system.FaaR wrote:Any plans to make this possible? It's a lot of gigaflops being wasted, with on-chip GPUs being fairly strong these days.

Support for Intel HD gpus is somewhere on FAHs wishlist but like Folding on Apple gpus, it may never happen. Driver support from both AMD & NV is less than perfect and vendor support on intel and apple is worse at least for things other than video.
