QRB bonus points requirements

Post by mekarunga »

Hi, guys, I want to ask some info about bonus points.

I saw I can get bonus points when configuring passkey and folding more than 10 WU's using it, but I didn't know that I need to succesfully complete at least 80% of WU

There are two FAQ pages related to the passkey, QRB and points, - Passkey FAQ and Points FAQ. The second has a section on what the qualifications are to receive QRB points. It clearly states the requirement to maintain an 80% completion rate.

I am sorry, I accidentally posted before I finished writing. My question was: How do I know my rate of succesfully turned in WU's if I know I didn't finish all my WU's? I don't have the best hardware (yet) and I can't fold 24/7 on my laptop, so I dumped handful of WUs over time... How can I check how far am I from 80% succesful rate?
One more question: where in the log can I find information about QRB points for having above 80% succesful WU

The Pande Group does not provide a web page that can be used to determine if you exceed the 80% rate. Access to that transaction is restricted to forum Moderators.

There are two different passkeys associated with the name mekarunga. Both are qualified for the QRB bonuses. One is at 100% and the other is not far above the 80% minimum.

Please try to avoid future problems by fixing whatever is wrong with your system. [?? Unstable overclocking ??]

This 80% ... Since I joined FAH I have one question never found an answer to: 80% of what baseline ?

I have right now some 6000 WU on my belt and successfully returned. Does that theoretically mean that I could dump 1000 WU and still be qualified ? Promise I will not do that but I wonder if the 80% rule is (or should be) also bound to some time range (week, month, year) ?

Right now my understanding is: it is a kind of lifetime limit which means with an increasing number of finished WU this 80% rule becomes practically irrelevant ?

While you could easily dump a lot of WUs and continue to get a bonus, the large amount of dumping would not go unnoticed. Your fah account cod easily get blacklisted and you wouldn't get any more WUs.

QRB is an incentive program. Corrective actions are handled differently.

Thank you for outlining the consequences, but the question still remain open: 80% of what ?

Here my attempt to make sense out of it: the "80% success rate" is a secondary tool to guide new donors during their initial learning phase into a positive behavior towards the project with the goal to finish a started WU within the given parameter beyond the first hard limit of 10 successful WU.

As I understand it, 80% of the qualifying WU's assigned to your passkey, ever since day one.

So wholesale dumping of Core15's wouldn't hurt your QRB as they don't qualify for it, but would probably qualify for 7im's second sentence
