PS3 data to PC

Post by Holy_Ocelot »

I once used to fold on the PS3, but have recently began folding on my computer as the PS3 client has since shut down. Now I have two separate IDs of the same name. Is there any way I can have my PS3 WUs consolidated to my new account?

Sorry.... Once points are credited to a specific name, they are never adjusted.

You could have used the same account name on all your systems, but it's too late to do anything about it now.

That's the thing. I used the same account name for both. Ah well. Nothing I can do. Thanks.

If you folded as Holy_Ocelot, the difference between the two entries is that one is connected to the default team (Team 0) and the other you did pick a team. Searching the official stats you will get both, but the points from one team can not be moved to another.

Oh okay. Makes sense. I guess I'll have to set my desire for order aside for this one. Haha. Thanks for the quick responses.

I would love to, but my original ID was on PS3, which they've since shut down the client for. Is there another way?

every team has a team number, assuming you are folding under Holy_Ocelot you have folder for for team 0 and team 226857, decide which team you want to be with and then change the team number accordingly

That sounds promising. How could I access the folder for the one under team 0 if I no longer have access to the client I was using to fold under that ID?

I think you are misunderstanding Nathan_P's advice. If you want your points to go to the same username and team as you used when folding on your PS3, then you would change the team number to 0 which is what you last used in 2012. Points earned under team 226857 will stay there, just as any earned under team 0. It is not a case of you being able to access a "folder" to change the stats recorded on the PG stats server.

I guess what I really want to know is if there's a way to change team 0 to my current team so that when I search Donor Stats, my name only appears once without me having to abandon the team number?

I'm sorry if I seem like I'm not getting it. I do appreciate everyone's help.

As said, once the points are assigned to a username and team they stay credited to that combination and will not be merged with another record. Searching the official stats by username will show both records on one page, that is as close as you can get to seeing all of the points at once.
