Okay, I looked on the server stats page, and apparently there's only 1 server for the GPU folding on LINUX. Well, other than the "Internal" and "Advanced" ones, but I don't think the client software is using those; running the latest (7.4.4) of both client and Control software. Anyway, my client is just not getting any GPU WUs and I think it may be because it's only trying to request from that 1 Linux GPU server, which I apparently can't route to through either my home internet provider or the Comcast wifi hotspots around town. So, does anyone have the info for a VPN that will for sure allow me to route to that server? Or can I get someone to help me in setting up a server that I know I can route to, which will do Linux GPU WU assignments?

Linux GPU options are limited. If you have set the client type to advanced, you have already done all that you can.

You also have to have a Fermi or Keppler GPU and you have to locate and install the proprietary drivers from NVidia.7im wrote:Linux GPU options are limited....

For better help please post the first 100 lines of your log file; that would allow us to see a bit more about your setup.
Please contribute your logs to http://ppd.fahmm.net
Re: F@H Linux GPU servers?
Okay, sorry it took so long to update. When I posted this, I was on a 3.0Ghz CPU pentium 4 (Hyper Threaded) with 2GB of RAM, an EVGA GeForce 8600GTS running Fedora 18 LXDE. Since I can't get GPU WUs (I literally CANNOT reach the server by ANY means; a traceroute terminates at 25 hops, and ping attempts fail even when sent to port 8080 which the server is supposed to be listening on) I've removed the NVIDIA drivers and card; I've also updated to Fedora 20.

Re: F@H Linux GPU servers?
Welcome to the F@H Forum Mys,
Without a log file, we don't know what error you had. However, even if everything was correctly configured for V7.4.4, you would still not get any GPU WUs since your GPU is not supported under native Linux. Your GPU is a Pre-Fermi one while F@H supports Fermi or better (Maxwell GPU will be supported once Nvidia fixes the driver bug). Your GPU can only process FahCore_11 WUs which have already been announced End Of Life (http://folding.stanford.edu/home/remind ... -core78-2/) but there are still WUs being assigned. Thus, if you would still like to fold with your GPU in Linux using the previous v6 Client, you will have to use an unofficial method which involves WINE (viewtopic.php?f=54&t=23958).
