multi PC's in the home

so i have a question about the possibility of using 3 other computers under my name will i get the points for it and will the eventually work on the same load or at least go to the next one that is after the one. that my current unit is working on?

Hardware configuration: Machine #1:

Intel Q9450; 2x2GB=8GB Ram; Gigabyte GA-X48-DS4 Motherboard; PC Power and Cooling Q750 PS; 2x GTX 460; Windows Server 2008 X64 (SP1).

Machine #2:

Intel Q6600; 2x2GB=4GB Ram; Gigabyte GA-X48-DS4 Motherboard; PC Power and Cooling Q750 PS; 2x GTX 460 video card; Windows 7 X64.

Machine 3:

Dell Dimension 8400, 3.2GHz P4 4x512GB Ram, Video card GTX 460, Windows 7 X32

I am currently folding just on the 5x GTX 460's for aprox. 70K PPD

As long as you do not clone the machines, you can use the same username, passkey, and team on all your machines. Each separate install, gives the computer its own unique number and that is enough to keep the WU's independent.

Welcome to the F@H Forum Troyjan20072001,

Regarding the kind of WUs (Work Units) being assigned to your other system, it depends on the hardware of those systems and how F@H is configured. Thus, you can get WUs from the same Project that system A is working on or you will get a WU from a completely different Project. Do note that under normal situations, WUs are not duplicated so all work done by your systems will be unique.

Moreover, if you are using V7, you can configure the Advanced Control (AKA FAHControl) to monitor your other systems too (https://fah.stanford.edu/projects/FAHCl ... oteClients).
