A Cancer Researcher Uses BitTorrent Sync For Big Projects

Post by PantherX »

I read this article (http://blog.bittorrent.com/2014/03/11/s ... -projects/) and was reminded of Storage@Home (viewtopic.php?nomobile=1&f=24&t=11485) which was later discontinued (viewtopic.php?f=15&t=18333). If this proves to be wildly successful, it could open up another DC Project where members share their hard disk space for scientific uses.

Interesting. Although, I think their sense of "big" is different than ours ...
