P8582 - no points

It appears that my 7th completed WU isn't showing in the points

From the log [on 28 Feb 2014] it shows:

The last WU I can see credit for was on 28th Feb for P6098, R9, C84, G420.

Not expecting the QRB as I haven't done 10 WUs yet.
Is it just me or is there a problem with the stats reporting ?

I can see no return from PDW in the database for that work unit but since your log clearly shows it was uploaded and accepted I will inform the appropriate personnel at PG.

The missing credit has been found and updated:

Thanks very much for getting that looked into and getting the points added bollix47.

Can you tell me why it hadn't been credited please ?
I hadn't planned on having to monitor every WU to see if it got credited or not and it's only because I haven't got far into the process (not many points) that I spotted it hadn't been included.

The actual reason is something that would require input from PG. I suspect an update job failed somewhere along the line. It's very rare but has happened in the past.

Your report sped up the resolution of the problem. If you had not reported the problem there's a good chance someone else would have since you were not the only one affected.

So, even if the buckets of completed WUs aren't collected and emptied into the database when they are supposed to be they are big enough to hold whatever is put in and will never overflow into the drain or get kicked over and lost ?

In future should I assume it will always get sorted out sooner (if a donor reports it) or later (if PG find it) and not worry about it ?
I take it there is no Quick Reporting Bonus for problems

In any computer installation a disk can occasionally fill up (happened on one of my personal computers recently) but, again, that's very rare and although it has happened in the past PG has been quick to rectify the problem and have taken steps to ensure no credits or results were lost.

Yes, I think it's fair to assume it will get sorted sooner or later and I certainly wouldn't spend any time worrying about it.
