Radeon 6650 is waiting for idle
I use a AMD A8 cpu with Radeon 6550 GPU built-in. The folding information page shown the GPU is waiting for idle. When I will start to work?

Re: Radeon 6650 is waiting for idle
On the Light setting the folding client is waiting for your system to be idle before folding on the GPU. With Windows that is when either the F@H screensaver is running, the screen is shutdown, or Windows determines the system is in "away" mode. Additional information on the client can be found in the guides and FAQ listings linked from The Software link at the top of forum pages.

Welcome to the forum DavidYin.
It will engage when the computer becomes idle, which is determined when the screensaver kicks in or the system powers off the monitor, whichever comes first. Then the GPU will kick in. It was designed this way to avoid lag problems with the GPU running in the background. If you like, you can move the slider to the right a notch. The Full setting will run everything at full throttle, but that may cause lag and heating issues depending on your system. Contribute at the level that you feel is best.

F@h is now the top computing platform on the planet and nothing unites people like a dedicated fight against a common enemy. This virus affects all of us. Lets end it together.
