7790 Faliure

It seems that a lot of GPU problems revolve around specific versions of drivers. Though AMD has their own support structure, you can often learn from information reported by others who fold.

7790 Faliure

The Folding@Home client won't use my HD7790 for folding, it says its running but after a few minutes it says that it has failed.
It works fine with my CPU and my GT240, don't know why my 7790 doesn't work.

Please post the beginning section of the log that has version and system information as well as the folding configuration. Also, which version of the Catalyst drivers are you using?

Hello Goldn3agle, welcome to the forum.

You'll need to have the latest AMD drivers installed, and then you may have to set some index settings manually, especially when mixing GPU makers. See...
