Currently getting the following message repeatedly:

The message Failed to get assignment from '.....': Empty work server assignment means that you successfully contacted the Assignment Server, it has evaluated the facts reported by your client, it has compared those criteria with the criteria of Projects on all the Work Servers and determined that no active WS has an active project that matches your requirements.

Check serverstat (which may be 15 minutes old) and look for forum reports of WU shortages or servers down.

Since mine is running in Linux the only assignments it can run are for core_17 from 171.64.65.69 so the message makes sense. It was suggested elsewhere that the server is busy creating work units for the new 8901 beta project and may be related.

Switching over to Windows has resulted in a core_15 assignment.
