I sent back six days of work yesterday, but never received credit. In looking around, it seems the server is not staying solid - it loses status, unlike others of the SMP genre.

There is no record of Project: 7087 (Run 0, Clone 898, Gen 8) being returned around [June 4 10:03:23 UTC]. A few people had trouble with that WU and got zero points for it. It has also been successfully completed by others on different days but not by you.

I note I didn't have trouble with the WU, and it was returned within the 8.90 Final Deadline (Days) listed in the Projects List:

As I found also, this Server is not in the Stanford location, but at Notre Dame, but the parameters showing for it are very suspect to me. Why are there repeated instances with no valid data many times each day? Do they show some type of lock-out condition that flushes the info? Any way I can stay off that Server - I don't need to waste a week of my time and money.

It was successfully completed by me, and returned within deadline. The problem is with the Server.

Notre Dame has been relocating their servers. I have no reports other than yours which might have been associated with those changes but you might check recent posts from abdulwahidc and see if there's anything that could possibly correlate with your incident.

Hi Bruce - That is correct. I also went back and looked to find I (and several others) have been here before. As far as I know, I never got credited for viewtopic.php?f=18&t=23588 either so it seems this one will also get lost.


This problem has to be internal to the server, as the network transferred the data successfully and got released, as indicated by my client at 10:06:20 Posted data / Results successfully sent. As that thread showed, ND found a HD error that was replaced.
